Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate/Assistant license in New York.
- Ability to prescribe medications in the relevant state.
- Clinical proficiency in assessing, diagnosing, and managing sleep apnea.
- Experience interpreting home sleep test and wearable sleep data.
- Comfort using telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR).
- Strong patient education and communication skills.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Prior experience in sleep medicine or pulmonology preferred.
- Commitment to equitable and evidence-based patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telehealth consultations for patients with sleep disorders.
- Review and interpret home sleep test results and wearable sleep data.
- Develop, implement, and adjust evidence-based treatment plans.
- Educate patients on sleep hygiene, therapy options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including sleep specialists and care coordinators.
- Monitor patient progress and guide patients through their care journeys.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation ensuring regulatory adherence.
