- 6+ years of content design or content strategy experience.
- 2+ years of experience on direct-to-consumer digital products with a portfolio showing impact on conversion or revenue.
- Strong storytelling instincts and ability to shape long, high-consideration user journeys.
- Command of plain, compelling language suitable for complicated or regulated subject matter.
- Ability to articulate clear content hierarchy and messaging.
- Strong presentation skills and experience writing collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Genuine AI fluency, including using AI tools for ideation and prompt structuring.
- Comfort using Figma.
- Experience working with regulatory constraints.
- Collaborative style that builds trust with product managers, designers, and researchers.
Responsibilities
- Write and shape content across the purchase journey, including landing pages, onboarding, checkout, post-purchase, and microcopy.
- Build the narrative backbone for major product flows to ensure a cohesive user story.
- Balance functional clarity with emotional resonance to demystify complex financial products.
- Iterate on content in a collaborative, real-time environment while articulating clear goals.
- Present designs to leadership and incorporate feedback into final content.
- Evolve Ethos's content standards, tone-of-voice guidelines, and review processes.
- Support cross-functional partners with writing and content thinking.
- Utilize AI tools to produce on-brand content efficiently while maintaining quality judgment.
- Conduct audits, competitive research, and user interviews to build expertise on customer needs.
- Test and iterate on content using analytics, A/B testing, and usability research.
