  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with influencers, ambassadors, creators, or other external partners.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and voice across platforms and brand identities.
  • Excellent organizational and project-management abilities to manage multiple brands, partners, and deadlines.
  • Comfort participating in niche online communities in an authentic, helpful, and culturally aware manner.
  • Experience sourcing user-generated content and managing rights, permissions, and licensing.
  • Strong understanding of digital and social media trends, platform functionality, and audience engagement.
  • Excellent relationship-management skills and the ability to build trust with creators and stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset for working effectively across distributed teams.
  • Genuine passion for outdoor recreation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day social media activity across multiple brand channels, including Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, and YouTube.
  • Develop and maintain social content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns, seasonal opportunities, and individual brand priorities.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and actively cultivate growing, engaged audiences.
  • Track social performance and provide regular reporting on audience growth, engagement, content effectiveness, and other relevant metrics.
  • Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage influencers and brand ambassadors across outdoor recreation communities.
  • Build authentic, long-term relationships with creators and partners while managing agreements, briefs, deliverables, and performance.
  • Develop a pipeline of user-generated content and influencer assets to support marketing initiatives.
  • Represent the brands authentically across relevant online forums and niche communities.
  • Support earned-media and PR activities by amplifying brand stories and contributing to media outreach.
