Requirements
- 2-5 years of industry experience.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Experience with Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
- Experience with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem.
- Familiarity with Docker.
- Familiarity with DBT.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
- Willingness to work on weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
- Support team election readiness by processing voter files, resolving pipeline errors, and maintaining end-to-end ETL pipelines.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks such as building data pipelines for disparate sources and improving system reliability for high-volume periods.
- Develop and maintain data workflows using Apache Airflow and the GCP ecosystem.
- Communicate and collaborate with developers, product managers, and users to provide high-quality data products.
- Automate manual processes to save time for human tasks.
- Build sustainable infrastructure to support long-term technological improvements for political campaigns.
