- Current or former professional or elite rugby athlete status.
- Credibility and relevant relationships within the rugby community.
- Ability to build authentic relationships across professional, cultural, and personal backgrounds.
- Strong communication, listening, and storytelling skills.
- Confidence in initiating conversations and maintaining consistent follow-up.
- Strong personal organization and ability to work independently and asynchronously.
- Proficiency in using shared digital platforms and maintaining timely records.
- Openness to learning relationship-based fundraising and major-gift strategies.
- Authentic commitment to Pass It Back, gender equality, and rugby for social impact.
Responsibilities
- Own and actively manage an agreed portfolio of 25–35 prospective supporters.
- Draw on personal rugby experience and networks to secure warm introductions.
- Build authentic relationships through meetings, events, and virtual experiences.
- Develop and execute major-gift strategies in collaboration with Co-Directors.
- Prepare for, participate in, and lead major-gift conversations and solicitations.
- Steward Collective members through meaningful engagement and communication.
- Represent ChildFund Rugby and the Pass It Back Collective at external engagements.
- Provide timely information for portfolio management and reporting.
