Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or comparable relevant work experience.
- 4+ years direct experience administering and optimizing Zendesk implementations for established businesses.
- Direct technical leadership experience with substantial efforts to build or iterate on complex functionality.
- Deep, detailed understanding of Zendesk configuration components (Triggers, Macros, Tags, Skills, Omnichannel Routing).
- Strong familiarity with Zendesk APIs for data extraction and platform actions.
- Ability to understand business processes and translate business requirements into application functionality.
- Ability to operate independently and effectively without direct oversight.
- Demonstrated project management and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication capabilities across a variety of channels.
- Ability to balance attention to detail with expeditious execution in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate Rover’s use of Zendesk and adjacent applications to improve efficiency and optimize implementation.
- Lead or participate in projects impacting supported applications, including feature rollouts, migrations, integrations, and optimization.
- Action internal issues and requests escalated by front-line support, prioritizing by business impact.
- Maintain expert-level technical understanding of applications and identify opportunities to improve processes.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Supply thought leadership for operations and product roadmaps.
- Provide domain expertise to partner teams and leadership.
