Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise integration engineering, systems architecture, or senior engineering roles.
- Proven hands-on expertise with Workato or similar iPaaS platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica).
- Advanced hands-on experience with Workday Studio, including EIB, Core Connectors, and XSLT.
- Strong command of integration architecture patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven/pub-sub, data transformation, idempotency).
- Experience developing integrations with platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, and Snowflake.
- Strong working knowledge of JSON, XML, XSLT, OAuth, and API-based integration.
- Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership to distributed or offshore engineering teams.
- Experience establishing or maturing integration governance frameworks, including design standards and SLA models.
- Ability to independently assess complex integration estates, identify technical debt, and execute modernization roadmaps.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain enterprise integration architecture across Finance, Revenue, People Technology, Billing, and Go-to-Market functions.
- Establish and enforce integration design guidelines, coding standards, SLAs, and monitoring practices.
- Lead architecture reviews and make technical design decisions for complex integrations.
- Design, build, and optimize complex Workday Studio and Workato integrations including EIB, Core Connectors, and XSLT.
- Develop reusable integration components and shared libraries to improve development speed and maintainability.
- Manage API-based integrations connecting Workday, Salesforce, Snowflake, and other enterprise systems.
- Lead root cause analysis for integration incidents and implement systemic improvements.
- Partner with leadership to develop and prioritize AI and automation pipelines based on business value.
