Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience developing backend applications with Node.js.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience building REST APIs and/or GraphQL services.
- Advanced knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of Git and modern version-control practices.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Chai.
- Experience with microservices architectures and messaging systems, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of backend application security practices.
- Experience working with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is desirable.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize backend APIs and services using Node.js.
- Build and improve integrations with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Apply software engineering best practices, including clean code, automated testing, and version control.
- Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and product teams to define technical solutions.
- Monitor and improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring.
- Contribute to backend architecture, refactoring, and long-term technical sustainability.
- Work with microservices and messaging technologies to support distributed applications.
