Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within a healthcare organization, venture-backed startup, investment firm, foundation, or consulting practice.
- Direct experience supporting or leading fundraising (venture rounds, foundation grants, or philanthropic campaigns), including pipeline development, diligence, and closing.
- Experience working directly with senior executives, board members, and investors.
- Strong proficiency in preparing executive-level materials, such as board decks, investor updates, pitch materials, and strategic memos.
- Expert knowledge of the healthcare landscape.
- Proven project management and operational excellence, including organizational planning and strategic road mapping.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, public policy, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in a startup (prior to Series B) preferred.
- Ability to travel approximately 20-25% to markets, conferences, and company meetings.
Responsibilities
- Orchestrate strategic time management and act as air traffic controller for the CEO and broader executive team.
- Own investor relations strategy, including drafting updates, building board materials, and serving as a day-to-day contact for venture investors.
- Manage relationships with philanthropic and grant funders, ensuring consistent narrative, reporting, and stewardship.
- Lead the operating cadence of the executive and senior leadership teams, including agendas, meeting management, and follow-through on action items.
- Drive the development, alignment, and tracking of OKRs and strategic planning initiatives.
- Execute fundraising strategy across venture capital, foundations, and government grants, including pipeline development and diligence.
- Conduct research and analysis to support executive decision-making and lead cross-functional enterprise-wide initiatives.
