Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a hands-on software engineering role.
- Experience leading design, implementation, and deployment of one or more high-scale, cross-functional payment systems.
- Proven experience in defining product/technical strategy and driving alignment with cross-functional leaders.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience driving multi-department initiatives.
- Technical leadership: hands-on experience setting technical direction and strategy.
- Passionate about efficiency, availability, and system quality.
- 1+ years of relevant industry experience in Payments/Fintech as a backend software engineer is a plus.
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Work on multi-team technical initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally to refine and prioritize requirements.
- Architect and implement complex features with a focus on data-driven decision making and performance.
- Advance engineering processes and technical foundations in collaboration with other teams.
- Identify patterns to streamline development, reduce toil, and increase technical quality and operational excellence.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers through design reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
