Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Integration Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Technical Consultant.
- Proven experience working on multiple system integration projects.
- Experience contributing directly to integration solution design beyond discovery.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, web services, and system-to-system integrations.
- Ability to confidently read and interpret API documentation.
- Strong understanding of JSON and XML structures and data exchange concepts.
- Experience creating detailed data mappings between source and target systems.
- Understanding of data transformation, validation, synchronization, and error-handling concepts.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis, validation, or troubleshooting.
- Experience gathering technical requirements directly from customers and translating them into developer specifications.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience working directly with North American clients or distributed international teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the discovery and solution design of system integrations across customer and internal projects.
- Analyze source and destination systems to determine data exchange requirements.
- Research unfamiliar applications and API documentation independently to prepare for discovery.
- Lead technical discovery sessions with customers, developers, and stakeholders.
- Identify appropriate APIs, endpoints, and integration mechanisms for business use cases.
- Define end-to-end integration flows including transformation, validation, and synchronization logic.
- Create detailed source-to-target data mappings, including field relationships and transformation rules.
- Translate business integration needs into clear, actionable technical specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and client teams to ensure integration design integrity.
