Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE experience in an enterprise environment.
- Strong Java development background with ability to read and work alongside Java/Spring Boot codebases.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
- Proficiency with AWS cloud services and cloud-native architecture patterns.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).
- Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Solid understanding of networking, security groups, VPCs, and IAM in AWS.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tooling such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Splunk.
- Understanding of SQL, XML, JSON, REST/SOAP Web Services, and middleware technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Java-based microservices using tools like GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Deploy and manage AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, ECS/EKS, and RDS.
- Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions using tools like AWS CloudWatch, ELK, or Splunk.
- Support containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
- Collaborate with Java development teams to embed DevOps practices and support healthcare EDI transaction pipelines.
- Enforce security best practices including secrets management, IAM policies, and HIPAA compliance controls.
