Requirements
- Proven experience shipping multiple GenAI features into production at scale in a customer-facing product.
- Experience shipping multi-step, tool-using agents in a user-facing product.
- Deep applied AI judgment regarding evaluation, retrieval quality, tool use, and failure modes.
- Experience applying evaluation and observability to LLM systems, including tests, golden sets, and online metrics.
- Solid understanding of privacy and security concerns, specifically prompt injection and data leakage risks.
- Strong proficiency in modern AI stacks, including Vector DBs, orchestration, and durable execution frameworks.
- Experience building APIs, services, and data retrieval pipelines like RAG.
- Deep proficiency with Python for data and ML engineering, and SQL.
- Extensive background in traditional ML engineering and architecting reliable, scalable data systems.
- Ability to influence cross-functionally and communicate complex trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship multiple AI-powered product features, including agentic workflows, spend intelligence, and automated actions.
- Advise and prioritize product initiatives by working directly with Product, Design, Engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Own the evaluation, monitoring, and operationalization of AI features, including managing prompt changes and tracking performance in production.
- Partner with the GenAI Core platform team to validate platform choices and influence feature delivery strategy.
- Establish and enforce practical standards for AI feature delivery, such as evaluation strategy, monitoring, and safety guardrails.
- Upskill the team through mentorship, code reviews, and pairing.
