Requirements
- Practical experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in production.
- Strong knowledge of OCI services: Compute, Networking, Load Balancer, Storage, and Cloud Security.
- Solid Linux administration experience (preferably Ubuntu).
- Strong troubleshooting and log analysis skills for complex production issues.
- Hands-on experience supporting Java and Spring Boot applications.
- Experience troubleshooting Java applications (JVM, heap, GC, threads).
- Strong SQL Server experience (indexing, execution plans, locks, deadlocks, concurrency).
- Experience with monitoring and observability practices.
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems and implement corrective actions.
- Shell scripting experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes/OKE is a plus.
- Desirable: Kafka, CI/CD, Jenkins, cloud security, and Java application profiling.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain OCI compute, networking, load balancers, storage, and security resources.
- Manage Linux server configurations, monitoring, and resource optimization.
- Deploy, configure, and support Java and Spring Boot microservices.
- Analyze infrastructure and application performance to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Troubleshoot Java services by analyzing JVM behavior, GC, and heap usage.
- Optimize SQL Server queries, indexes, and execution plans.
- Investigate critical incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
- Automate recurring administrative tasks to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain technical documentation covering configurations and procedures.
