Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Data Analytics, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, etc.) or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product analytics, or data analysis with increasing responsibility.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency for querying and analyzing large, complex datasets.
  • Strong Tableau skills including dashboard development and analytical storytelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs and data insights into technical requirements.
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments such as healthcare, government, or financial services.
  • Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, or enterprise analytics initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Agile product development practices and tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Proficiency with AI-supported tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to accelerate work.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment and travel periodically as required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for controlled substance products, datasets, reporting capabilities, customer workflows, and the relevant regulatory landscape.
  • Use SQL, Tableau, and other analytical tools to investigate complex data questions, identify customer needs, validate assumptions, and inform product decisions.
  • Own discovery, prioritization, definition, and delivery of reporting and data product initiatives from problem identification through customer adoption.
  • Help shape product strategy across reporting, analytics, data governance, metadata, and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Partner with customer-facing teams to manage expectations, clarify scope, communicate tradeoffs, and distinguish between defects, gaps, and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and other cross-functional teams to improve data governance and develop scalable solutions.
  • Define AI-enabled analytics use cases, data requirements, governance considerations, and success metrics.
  • Translate customer feedback, market needs, and analytical insights into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain high-quality product documentation, including user guides, workflows, and data definitions.
