Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in engineering.
- 5+ years of experience leading other leaders.
- Proven experience leading platform or infrastructure engineering at scale.
- Experience building or maturing an Internal Developer Platform (IDP).
- Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, reliability, and cost management.
- Ability to set architectural direction across multiple teams.
- Knowledge of AI and LLM platform needs, including gateways, evaluation, observability, and safety.
- Background in fast-scaling SaaS product companies.
- Fluency in English.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 20 engineers and 4 managers across backend platform, frontend platform, DevOps, architecture, accessibility, and quality assurance.
- Set the platform technology strategy and own its execution.
- Remove friction for product teams by owning cloud infrastructure, the internal developer platform, and AI tooling.
- Mentor engineers and managers to support their career development.
- Partner with the VP of Product Engineering to set investment priorities.
- Ensure platform security and address technical debt as a deliberate strategic choice.
- Measure and improve developer experience while tracking security and compliance gaps.
