Requirements
- Manual testing: Proficiency in API testing (Postman, Insomnia, SoapUI) and log analysis.
- Mobile testing: Knowledge of responsiveness, permissions handling, and OS version coverage.
- Java: Confident object-oriented programming skills and experience building automation frameworks.
- Tools: Familiarity with JUnit, TestNG, Maven, and Gradle.
- REST Assured: Automated API testing expertise including HTTP methods, JSON, and authentication.
- Selenide: Automated UI testing experience using Page Object Model.
- Appium: Automated mobile testing (Android/iOS) on emulators and simulators.
- Experience with CI/CD integration.
- Nice to have: A11Y (accessibility) testing familiarity (WCAG, TalkBack, VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS).
- Nice to have: Performance/load testing experience with JMeter.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites across API (REST Assured), web UI (Selenide), and mobile (Appium) layers.
- Perform manual testing where required, including mobile-specific scenarios (responsiveness, permissions, OS/version coverage, lifecycle testing).
- Analyze application logs to identify, localize, and help troubleshoot defects.
- Represent and enforce testing principles within the assigned development team, contributing to the team's overall quality assurance mindset.
- Contribute to accessibility (A11Y) testing efforts.
- Conduct performance/load testing using JMeter and provide optimization recommendations based on results.
