Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, public policy, public affairs, international affairs, journalism, or related discipline; graduate degree preferred.
  • 5–10 years of experience in government, multinational corporations, journalism, or consulting.
  • Experience with energy, climate, environmental, or resource policy.
  • Understanding of the geopolitical and regulatory environment across the Indo-Pacific.
  • Demonstrated experience managing senior client relationships and business development initiatives.
  • Fluent in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in an Asian language is a strong advantage.
  • Public speaking skills for engaging with corporate executives and policymakers.
  • Strong business judgment and ability to connect policy developments to commercial priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the global business development agenda for the Energy, Climate & Resources sector.
  • Partner with country experts to develop and pursue regional market-specific business opportunities and proposals.
  • Manage strategic client relationships at the global level and serve as a key point of contact.
  • Coordinate cross-functional client service efforts to ensure high-quality delivery across international markets.
  • Track global sector performance and business metrics to inform leadership decisions.
  • Contribute to recruitment and talent development efforts for the sector.
  • Produce thought leadership content and strengthen external visibility.
