Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a consultant or technical instructor in client-facing engagements.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer/Administrator, Network Engineer/Administrator, Cloud Engineer/Administrator, or similar.
- Proficiency in designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions with Elasticsearch or similar distributed data technologies.
- Strong understanding of Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Programming experience with at least one language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby).
- Experience with databases, including SQL, Redis, MongoDB, or similar NoSQL technologies.
- Ability to travel 30-40%.
- Ability to complete DHS EOD process.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (required within 30 days of hire).
Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and oversee Elastic consulting engagements to maximize customer value.
- Architect, implement, and configure Elastic solutions, including platform architecture and capacity planning.
- Build strong relationships as a customer advocate and trusted technical advisor.
- Develop and present demos and proof-of-concepts showcasing Elastic Stack value.
- Conduct data modeling, query development, optimization, and cluster tuning.
- Review and approve technical consulting reports.
- Mentor and coach consultants through enablement and training programs.
- Participate in technical interviews to assess and onboard new consultants.
