Requirements
- Deep experience working with enterprise customers in post-sales, technical architect, or consulting roles.
- Deep expertise in at least one data platform such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- At least 2 years of experience with dbt, ideally including 1 year with dbt platform.
- Proficiency in writing SQL.
- Experience with Python.
- Strong technical project delivery skills, including managing scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Ability to communicate complex technical and architectural problems clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
- Must be physically located in the United States.
- Ability to travel ~10% of the time for customer visits, retreats, and offsites.
- dbt Analytics Engineering Certification is an edge.
- Experience with traditional Enterprise ETL tooling (Informatica, Datastage, Talend) is an edge.
Responsibilities
- Execute impactful customer technical projects including implementation, configuration troubleshooting, and solutioning MVPs.
- Consult on data architecture and design for strategic customers.
- Drive adoption of the dbt platform among strategic accounts.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams including Sales, Solutions Architects, Training, and Support.
- Provide critical product feedback to internal engineering teams to prioritize customer requests and resolve engagement-specific issues.
