Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or 5+ years of relevant IT engineering and systems administration experience.
- Experience designing, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of VMware vCenter, Windows Server, and Linux distributions.
- Experience with firewalls, security rules, VPNs, monitoring, DNS, load balancing, and Layer 2/Layer 3 networking.
- Familiarity with Dell, Lenovo, and HP server and PC hardware.
- Experience troubleshooting at the application layer and supporting business-critical databases.
- Knowledge of SSL certificate deployment across servers and network equipment.
- Familiarity with VoIP technologies and enterprise phone systems.
- Experience with datacenter and cloud administration, backups, and patching.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure across networks, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud, and datacenter environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, application, hardware, and connectivity issues.
- Administer VMware vCenter, Windows Server, Linux, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs, and network configurations.
- Perform system, database, and server patching, backups, monitoring, and SSL certificate deployment.
- Manage end-user technology including onboarding/offboarding, asset procurement, and support tickets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver IT projects and infrastructure initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with security requirements.
- Participate in scheduled and unscheduled after-hours or on-call support.
