Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, data modeling, data visualization, and Power BI.
- Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Notebooks, Pipelines, Dataflows, Power BI integration, Python for Fabric Notebooks).
- Advanced, hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot for code generation, documentation, and analysis.
- Strong understanding of database structures, relationships, and data architecture principles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, charts).
- Proven ability to translate ambiguous business questions into scalable analytical solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence senior leadership.
- Experience conducting peer reviews and mentoring others.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
- Intermediate knowledge of insurance and MGA operations preferred.
- Experience with Tableau is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage sophisticated business intelligence solutions, including dashboards, reports, datasets, and visualizations.
- Partner with Product, Actuarial, Advanced Analytics, and Underwriting teams to interpret data from multiple sources.
- Audit and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and integrity across all deliverables.
- Translate technical findings into clear, practical recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Automate manual reporting and develop reusable, sustainable BI solutions.
- Serve as the organization’s Power BI subject matter expert.
- Leverage AI tools including Claude and Microsoft Copilot for analysis, SQL/Python development, and workflow optimization.
- Conduct peer reviews and mentor less experienced analysts.
