Requirements
- Recent college or university degree in Marketing or Business-related field.
- 2+ years of sales and account management experience in the transportation and logistics field (preferred).
- Experience in an analyst role or pricing function (asset).
- Experience working B2B sales involving complex deals (asset).
- Strong knowledge of the sales planning process.
- Ability to understand business processing requirements and conceptualize solutions.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer relation skills.
- Strong negotiation skills with proven closing ability.
- Ability to function independently with little supervision or within a team.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and track active shipments throughout weekend overnight hours to maintain visibility.
- Communicate shipment status, schedules, and issues with customers, drivers, and internal teams.
- Update customer portals and internal systems with accurate, timely records.
- Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments per customer requirements.
- Identify, escalate, and resolve operational exceptions like delays and load recoveries.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing timely solutions.
- Prepare and distribute overnight reports for the daytime operations team.
