Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Application Security, Security Engineering, DevSecOps, or Software Engineering.
- Deep expertise in secure software development, vulnerability management, and software supply chain security.
- Hands-on experience building security automations, integrations, APIs, platforms, or developer tooling.
- Strong software engineering and scripting proficiency in Python or similar languages.
- Experience integrating AppSec technologies like SAST, SCA, secrets detection, and container security into CI/CD workflows.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems and drive adoption of security solutions through documentation and collaboration.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development, agentic workflows, and associated security considerations.
- Experience with platforms such as Snyk, Wiz Code, GitHub Advanced Security, Checkmarx, or Veracode (preferred).
- Experience with cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and CNAPP technologies (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design and improve application security capabilities supporting secure software development enterprise-wide.
- Build reusable security automations, integrations, APIs, and developer tools to reduce manual effort.
- Implement secure-by-default golden paths and engineering patterns to facilitate secure development.
- Design scalable security solutions across code, containers, cloud-native apps, CI/CD pipelines, and software supply chains.
- Develop security patterns and guardrails for safe use of AI-assisted development and agentic workflows.
- Create telemetry, dashboards, and reporting pipelines for visibility into application risk and remediation progress.
- Serve as a senior technical expert and mentor to engineering teams.
