Requirements
- Proven experience developing production-scale applications in Node.js.
- Strong competency in writing modular, maintainable code.
- Experience creating and managing reusable npm modules.
- Solid skillset in testing and debugging.
- Deep interest or experience with P2P technologies or distributed systems.
- Comfort working in a remote, globally distributed team.
- Experience with native Node.js extensions (C/C++) or binding JS to lower-level code (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to optimize network protocols or systems (latency, throughput) (preferred).
- Familiarity with advanced networking concepts (preferred).
- Past contributions to OSS projects, especially in P2P or decentralized tech (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the P2P software stack.
- Expand the existing ecosystem of over 1500 public npm modules.
- Maintain a modular and robust codebase.
- Collaborate within a remote, globally distributed team.
