Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales, or technical consulting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Solutions Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience managing regional or distributed teams.
- Proven track record in coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Strong understanding of the technical sales cycle, including discovery and solution design.
- Deep expertise in API architectures including REST and GraphQL, API gateways, and security frameworks like OAuth and JWT.
- Knowledge of cloud-native technologies including Kubernetes and Docker.
- Familiarity with AI security concepts and infrastructure.
- Understanding of core networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies including SIEM/SOAR, CI/CD security, and OWASP API Top 10.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to use data for decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction to pre-sales leads and individual contributors to achieve business objectives.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop regional solutions engineering teams.
- Manage and influence the technical opportunity sales cycle through strong technical guidance.
- Communicate team strategy, priorities, and performance to leadership.
- Drive initiatives to strengthen team capabilities and support new product adoption.
- Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to align technical strategy.
- Support teams in delivering product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and technical evaluations.
- Maintain analytics and performance insights to enable data-driven planning.
- Improve processes, team efficiency, and customer engagement strategies.
- Build cross-functional relationships to create alignment among stakeholders.
