Requirements
- Typically 7+ years of deep, hands-on security experience.
- Proven ability to read unfamiliar code, run analyzers, and open pull requests that get merged.
- Expertise in agentic AI tooling (e.g., skills, agents, MCP servers, harnesses, evals).
- Strong track record of public technical contributions including talks, posts, and documentation.
- Ability to produce technical writing and public speaking that satisfies a skeptical practitioner audience.
- Ability to work under ambiguity and take ownership of strategic decisions.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25% of the year.
- Experience maintaining or contributing to open-source projects is preferred.
- Domain expertise in application security, blockchain, cryptography, AI/ML security, or low-level systems research is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Grow relationships within the security community by contributing alongside maintainers and researchers.
- Manage the baseline event presence by attending and speaking at key cybersecurity conferences and meetups.
- Support open-source projects by facilitating technical office hours and assisting with upstream contributions.
- Translate research and tool releases into actionable practitioner content, including tutorials, deep dives, and documentation.
- Accelerate conference participation by helping engineers prepare and deliver high-quality technical talks.
- Improve project adoption by creating usable examples, integrations, and clearer onboarding documentation.
- Gather community feedback to identify research gaps and ecosystem trends to inform internal strategies.
