Requirements
- Solid professional experience in software test automation, including design and implementation.
- Advanced experience with Robot Framework, including component reuse and parametrization.
- Experience automating web applications with tools like Cypress or Playwright.
- Programming experience with Python, Java, or a similar automation language.
- Proficiency in functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
- Practical knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Understanding of software testing techniques and Shift Left practices.
- Experience with SQL for data validation and test support.
- Proficiency with Git and version-control platforms.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration for automated tests.
- Experience with test management tools like Jira, Xray, or Azure DevOps.
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve automated test scenarios and suites, primarily using Robot Framework.
- Contribute to the evolution of the automation framework architecture, technical standards, and development best practices.
- Execute automated tests, investigate failures, and distinguish between product defects, environmental issues, and automation-related failures.
- Plan and define functional, regression, integration, system, acceptance, and API testing strategies.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor results to reduce flaky tests.
- Validate application and database data using SQL and support other QA professionals technically.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to the definition of quality metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
