Requirements
- 3-4 years of professional website development experience.
- Strong experience managing multiple websites.
- Proven experience leading website optimization initiatives.
- Advanced WordPress/CMS expertise.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles, customer journey mapping, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Technical SEO and GEO knowledge.
- Ability to use analytics and performance data to drive improvements.
- Strong ownership and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to balance technical requirements with marketing and branding objectives.
Responsibilities
- Build and update responsive websites, landing pages, and web forms.
- Manage CMS themes, plugins, integrations, updates, backups, and routine maintenance.
- Monitor website uptime and resolve technical issues across approximately 50 websites.
- Improve page speed, usability, accessibility, conversion performance, and mobile responsiveness.
- Apply technical SEO and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) best practices.
- Lead website redesign and enhancement projects to improve user experience, customer journeys, and conversion performance.
- Handle website helpdesk requests from local trading brands across Australia and New Zealand.
- Communicate progress to non-technical stakeholders and document fixes, updates, and recurring issues.
