Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Java and the JVM ecosystem (Spring Boot or similar).
- Hands-on experience with a durable execution or workflow engine (Temporal preferred).
- Experience designing and operating Kafka-based event streaming systems.
- Experience designing and building GraphQL APIs.
- Deep, hands-on AWS experience architecting and operating production systems (EKS, IAM, networking).
- Solid Kubernetes experience in deploying, operating, and debugging production workloads.
- Thorough understanding of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-style delivery.
- Experience with observability practices (logging, metrics, tracing).
- Experience planning and executing large-scale migrations.
- Database schema design and development expertise.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Java services, Temporal workflows, and Kafka-based event pipelines.
- Plan and execute large-scale modernization efforts, including workflow, service, and data migrations.
- Build and operate Kubernetes-native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on AWS.
- Consult with clients to build outcome-driven applications and guide them through technical challenges.
- Travel for team or client engagement (average 3–5 days per quarter).
- Present at conferences, conduct training, and create technical content.
