Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting or finance experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with accrual accounting and GAAP financial reporting.
- Experience managing multi-entity, multi-location, or multi-segment accounting.
- Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, Data Tables).
- Hands-on payroll processing experience using Gusto or similar platforms.
- Experience calculating and filing U.S. state sales tax.
- Understanding of general ledger accounting, AP, AR, and reconciliations.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently during U.S. business hours.
Responsibilities
- Execute accurate and timely month-end close processes.
- Prepare financial statements and reports aligned with client requirements.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure payroll-related compliance.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger records.
- Calculate and file U.S. state sales tax.
- Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Identify process inefficiencies and document accounting procedures.
- Communicate regularly with leadership regarding accounting priorities and deliverables.
