Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive experience in software development.
- 3-5 years in an Application Architect or similar senior leadership role.
- Proven track record designing and deploying cloud-native applications on GCP.
- Strong understanding of Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Serverless, and N-tier applications.
- Expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with at least one other modern language (e.g., Python, .NET, Node.js, Go, C#).
- Proficiency in designing data models and selecting database technologies (Relational, NoSQL).
- Extensive experience with RESTful API design, API Gateways, and secure development practices.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Helm).
- Solid understanding of frontend frameworks, including React and at least one other (Angular, Vue, or Svelte).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of robust, scalable, secure, and high-performance applications, defining technical standards, patterns, and best practices.
- Lead the design and integration of agentic software architectures, establishing robust APIs, state management, and memory systems that enable AI agents to execute complex tasks autonomously.
- Define and enforce governance standards for agent observability, error handling, and human-in-the-loop interventions to guarantee system reliability and data security.
- Translate complex business requirements and user stories into detailed technical designs, architectural blueprints, and implementation strategies.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and platforms, with a strong emphasis on GCP services and cloud-native architectures.
- Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to architectural principles.
- Collaborate closely with clients, product managers, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
- Contribute to technical roadmaps, staying abreast of emerging technologies such as AI/ML, serverless, and Service Mesh/Istio to drive innovation.
