- Broad knowledge across industries and research ability to go deep quickly.
- Excellent written English with a human, personal voice.
- Ability to use AI tools for research and production speed without losing voice.
- Fast writing capability for developing stories on strict deadlines.
- Ability to find original, contrarian angles.
- Solid SEO and GEO literacy.
- Self-editing capabilities and ability to run own pipeline with light oversight.
- Experience in crafting conversion-oriented copy.
Responsibilities
- Gather information on newsworthy US and global topics for coverage.
- Craft original, contrarian ideas to distinguish from mainstream financial reporting.
- Respond quickly to US market events and earnings to provide useful, researched coverage.
- Write articles for editorial or B2B covering investing insights, company news, and financial products.
- Contribute across multiple formats including market insights, bespoke articles, and emails.
- Optimize content using SEO and GEO practices to drive engagement and registrations.
- Produce creative, high-converting copy for campaigns, products, and brand initiatives.
- Support the Senior Investment Editor with content production and cross-team initiatives.
