Experience owning data pipeline reliability, production infrastructure, and incident response.
Ability to independently take ownership of unfamiliar infrastructure.
Experience with on-call responsibilities and commitment to operational excellence.
Proven ability to use AI-powered engineering tools such as Claude, Cursor, or comparable platforms.
Strong applied AI fluency for structuring problems and increasing engineering leverage.
Excellent technical judgment and a strong ownership mindset.
Strong communication and collaboration skills in distributed environments.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.
Ability to balance rapid execution with high standards for security, compliance, and quality.

Lead performance tuning for a distributed OLAP serving layer using query profiling and AI-assisted tools.
Develop and harden reliable data pipelines supporting government cloud investigations.
Improve infrastructure resilience by identifying and reducing single points of failure.
Lead production troubleshooting and root cause analysis using systematic investigation techniques.
Participate in on-call rotations and maintain operational procedures and runbooks.
Deliver infrastructure projects from design through implementation and operational ownership.
Build infrastructure capabilities meeting government cloud audit, data retention, and security standards.
Collaborate with Data Platform, Product, and Forward Deployed Engineering teams.
Utilize AI tools to accelerate debugging, code review, documentation, and configuration.
Contribute to technical strategy and architecture through evidence-based decision-making.
