Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure or security engineering.
- At least 2 years of focused experience in AWS security.
- Deep understanding of IAM policy evaluation logic, permission boundaries, and cross-account access patterns.
- Demonstrated experience building automated security checks for production environments.
- Ability to read and critically review Terraform code for security posture.
- Operational experience with PAM tooling or production credential rotation.
- Proven ability to own a security domain end-to-end without constant direction.
- Experience with multi-account AWS Organizations and SCPs.
- Experience writing SIEM detection rules in production environments (OpenSearch, Splunk, Elastic).
- Background in regulated fintech, exchanges, or payments preferred.
- Ability to translate security metrics into reporting for non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Verify that infrastructure implementations match the security model on a continuous basis.
- Build automated compliance checks and drift detection using AWS Config, Steampipe, or custom tooling.
- Review Terraform PRs for IAM, SCP, and network security gaps prior to production deployment.
- Own the credential lifecycle including rotation, PAM, JIT access, and session recording.
- Write and tune detection rules in OpenSearch SIEM.
- Build evidence dashboards to report security posture to leadership.
- Evaluate security tooling options and own the recommendation process.
