Requirements
- Clear written English and an instinct to over-communicate.
- Real production testing experience, including manual and exploratory testing.
- Ability to create test cases from thin specifications, ranked by impact.
- Experience maintaining automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Proficiency in API testing.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript or Python for test maintenance.
- Working knowledge of the SDLC and proactive testing strategies.
- Experience with AI tools like Claude, Cursor, or Gemini for test generation and triage.
- Eye for design to identify UI issues like misaligned buttons or placeholder copy.
- Ability to work with four hours of daily overlap with US business hours.
Responsibilities
- Own the QA process on projects end to end, including test strategy, test cases, regression suites, and release sign-off.
- Run manual and exploratory testing across web and mobile, covering functional, boundary, negative, cross-browser, and responsive paths.
- Build and maintain automated coverage using coding agents to write and repair suites.
- Test AI features for non-deterministic output, prompt regressions, and failure modes.
- Research and pilot new AI testing tools and report on their effectiveness.
- Write actionable bug reports with clear repro steps, environment details, and evidence.
- Get involved early to interrogate requirements and map potential break points.
- Provide regular updates on release status, including coverage, blockers, and risks.
