Requirements
- 5+ years of deep backend engineering experience.
- Elite Golang proficiency as a main tool.
- Strong production experience in JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js).
- Extensive hands-on experience architecting and maintaining production event streams using Apache Kafka.
- Real-world experience deploying, running, and debugging containerized services in GCP and Kubernetes.
- Advanced understanding of data modeling and caching in Redis and MongoDB.
- Prior experience in small, fast-moving engineering teams or early-stage startups.
- Ability to pass a rigorous, hands-on technical assessment.
- Availability to align working hours between EST and Eastern Europe (EET).
Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain high-throughput backend microservices utilizing Golang and Node.js.
- Own and evolve event-streaming infrastructure using Apache Kafka.
- Architect, scale, and optimize data layers using Redis and MongoDB.
- Deploy and manage services within Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes.
- Translate ambiguous product requirements into scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Solve complex backend calculations within business logic.
