Requirements
- Knowledge of current trends in software design, event-driven architecture, DevOps and a strong interest in further development.
- Knowledge of TypeScript or another modern programming language used on the backend.
- Experience with AWS IoT and serverless services like AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3.
- General understanding of the Linux platform and system development.
- Interest in applying agile development practices.
- Proactive, flexible and hands-on mindset.
Responsibilities
- Bridge the data flow of the AWS based backend infrastructure and the in-vehicle components using AWS services (e.g. AWS Chime for video stream, AWS IoT for communication).
- Work in a bottom-up managed, autonomous, cross-functional team together with other talented engineers.
- Implement robust functions which meet automotive standards.
- Participate in the full development life cycle, from design to implementation, quality assurance and maintenance.
- Interface with VW Group, vendors, and other partners to align on software interfaces, tooling and hardware.
