Requirements
- Proven experience managing a distributed team of engineers.
- Strong technical background as a software engineer.
- Strong experience with Python and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, APIs, databases, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
- Experience delivering production-grade software at scale.
- Excellent communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Positive, 'doer' attitude with a focus on problem-solving.
- Commercially minded approach to engineering decisions.
- Experience with AI tools for engineering productivity.
- B2 English proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of 6 to 10 engineers.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Product and Implementation teams to translate customer needs into technical plans.
- Drive agile delivery practices for high-quality product improvements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for CS, Sales, and implementation requests.
- Own QA and release processes end-to-end to ensure reliable shipping and defect prevention.
- Work with the CTO and leadership to scale the engineering organization and team structure.
- Manage hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and career development.
