Requirements
- Shipped and scaled high-performance data systems in production.
- Deep expertise in SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience in dbt, ClickHouse, and Postgres.
- Strong grasp of streaming data architectures and experience operating at scale.
- Capable of working the full data stack: ingestion, transformation, storage, modeling, and serving.
- Experience building with AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and MCPs.
- Strong written communication skills for a remote and async work environment.
- Ability to work independently and mentor team members.
- Experience leading or managing projects in smaller teams (bonus).
- Fluency in onchain data structures, Web3 technologies, and crypto markets (bonus).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale data pipelines and infrastructure in ClickHouse, Postgres, Python, and dbt.
- Manage pipelines behind 500M+ labeled addresses, handling terabytes of streaming and batch data daily.
- Partner with crypto researchers, software engineers, and product teams to model, surface, and productize data.
- Own data quality, reliability, and observability end-to-end.
- Mentor other data engineers and raise the technical bar across the team.
- Utilize AI tools and agents to optimize development workflows.
