Requirements
- 8+ years of professional product design experience focused on highly technical software, developer tools, infrastructure, or complex B2B/SaaS platforms.
- Expert-level systems thinking with a portfolio demonstrating structural design, cross-product workflow mapping, and complex data architectures.
- Proven success in executive-level cross-functional leadership, partnering with Director and VP-level engineering and product leaders.
- Strong ability to manage organizational complexity and align cross-product touchpoints.
- Proven capability to work with ambiguity and define clear frameworks out of abstract constraints.
- Proficiency or strong interest in AI-powered design workflows and tools.
- Practical experience designing interfaces for technical builders (APIs, SDKs, CLIs, configuration consoles) preferred.
- Expertise in designing high-density monitoring systems, analytical dashboards, or live diagnostic charts preferred.
- Background or familiarity with real-time streaming, telephony (SIP, WebRTC), or email delivery infrastructure preferred.
- Must be based in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end strategic user experience vision and long-term design architecture for communication platforms.
- Partner with design, product, and engineering leaders to drive unified, channel-agnostic configuration narratives.
- Translate complex technical primitives, APIs, and real-time streaming architectures into developer-friendly mental models.
- Establish strategic partnerships with Product Directors and Engineering VPs to align cross-product roadmaps.
- Scale design systems and mentor junior designers within the UX organization.
- Architect design frameworks for high-density data visualizations, logs, and diagnostic dashboards.
