Requirements
- 4+ years of experience owning the full lifecycle of production-grade LookML models.
- Advanced SQL proficiency, preferably with Snowflake or BigQuery.
- Strong foundation in dimensional modeling and data warehousing.
- Agency experience, specifically with performance marketing analytics.
- Experience deploying and governing LookML across multiple Looker instances.
- Experience with extensible LookML and modular visualizations in a multi-tenant environment.
- Experience mentoring junior team members.
- Experience with git-based version control and CI/CD workflows.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the enterprise LookML semantic layer as the governed foundation for analytics across the organization and client base.
- Write scalable and performant LookML with rich metadata to support emerging conversational analytics use cases.
- Translate stakeholder and client requirements into clear technical implementations and optimize Looker assets for self-service.
- Build data products applying strong visualization and UI/UX principles.
- Design for scale and performance, partnering with Analytics Engineering on query optimization and governance across instances.
- Maintain the LookML style guide, train users, and mentor junior developers through PR reviews and pairing.
