Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in UX with depth in both user research and product design.
- At least 5 years managing designers and/or researchers directly.
- Hands-on Jobs to be Done (JTBD) experience including switch interviews and job story creation.
- Hands-on experience designing or leading design for AI or ML-powered features.
- Deep command of research methodology, including unbiased interviewing, surveys, and concept testing.
- Strong design craft, including information architecture, interaction design, and prototyping.
- Fluency in design-to-engineering handoff within Agile environments.
- Experience defining and tracking outcome-based UX metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to work in B2B or enterprise SaaS environments.
- Comfort working with ambiguity across multiple, loosely defined product teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor designers, overseeing both individual contributor and leadership career tracks.
- Define and maintain interaction patterns, principles, and guardrails for AI-driven product features.
- Drive maturity in research standards, including JTBD interviews, usability testing, and mixed-method study design.
- Collaborate with Engineering to set strategic direction for design systems and accessibility conformance.
- Define outcome-based UX metrics to influence product roadmaps and report to leadership.
- Establish design operations, including tooling, templates, and recruitment processes to scale the discipline.
