Job Details

Experience: 8+ years

Requirements

8+ years of dedicated email deliverability experience, ideally at an ESP, CDP, or high-volume sending platform.
Deep technical command of email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI).
Expertise in IP and domain warming, sender reputation management, and feedback loops.
Hands-on experience diagnosing and remediating blocklistings and inbox-placement issues.
Fluency with Google Postmaster Tools, Yahoo Sender Hub, and 2024+ bulk-sender requirements.
Strong understanding of e-commerce and DTC brand email programs.
Ability to translate deep technical deliverability concepts into clear, actionable strategy for marketers.
Experience building processes, playbooks, and systems from scratch.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Existing relationships with mailbox providers or active participation in deliverability communities like M3AAWG or emailgeeks is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end email deliverability strategy including IP pool architecture and shared vs. dedicated sending models.
Design and manage IP and domain warming programs for new and existing senders.
Establish and enforce authentication standards like SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and BIMI.
Monitor sender reputation and mailbox-provider requirements, leading rapid remediation for blocklists or deliverability issues.
Serve as the senior deliverability advisor for e-commerce brands during migrations and scaling.
Partner with Product and Engineering to build and influence deliverability-focused infrastructure and tooling.
Build standard operating procedures and scale the function through future team leadership.
Maintain industry compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and mailbox-provider policies.
