Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in managing teams of project managers.
- Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
- Proven experience with project management software and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to foster team collaboration and motivate staff within a matrix organizational structure.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead by example and promote autonomous problem-solving.
- Proven success in goal setting, performance management, mentoring, and coaching.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to prioritize work and make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to adapt to change and navigate ambiguity effectively.
- Strong focus on results, anticipating potential issues, and solving problems proactively.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strategic mindset to align project outcomes with company goals and manage interdependencies.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned project managers and ensure the development of the PM function.
- Oversee project initiation and launch processes, including team formation and resource planning.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and lead performance management, including 1:1s and goal setting.
- Define and implement standards, policies, and processes for project management and cross-functional interaction.
- Monitor project health, including budget adherence, timeline delivery, and risk management.
- Mentor and coach project managers to drive professional development and team performance.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks.
- Participate in hiring decisions and resource allocation planning.
