Requirements

  • 3–5 years of IT infrastructure administration or systems engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with network administration (firewalls, VPN, DNS/DHCP, VLANs).
  • Solid experience with server administration in Linux and/or Windows Server environments.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure) at an administration level.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure security principles, including hardening, patch management, access controls, and certificate lifecycle.
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Methodical approach to documentation, change management, and incident response.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and switching/routing equipment.
  • Manage server infrastructure, including physical and virtual provisioning, patching, performance tuning, and decommissioning.
  • Administer cloud infrastructure across GCP, AWS, or Azure platforms, covering compute, storage, networking, and IAM.
  • Manage virtualization platforms and containerization environments.
  • Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions, conducting periodic DR tests.
  • Monitor infrastructure health using observability tools and resolve infrastructure incidents.
  • Enforce security controls such as vulnerability remediation, access hardening, and certificate management.
  • Maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, runbooks, and configuration baselines.
  • Support IT security audits and provide infrastructure evidence for compliance programs.
