Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a role focused on project management and/or problem-solving.
- Proven ability to manage day-to-day operations while contributing to longer-term system improvements.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Analytical mindset with a strong framework for prioritization and building structure around ambiguity.
- Strong critical thinking and judgment in decision-making.
- Strong data analysis skills, including working with inconsistent or incomplete datasets.
- Excellent communication skills, including speaking, writing, presenting, and negotiating.
- Strong organizational instincts for building and maintaining systems.
- Ability to ramp up quickly and work in a highly independent manner.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience in maternal/child health, early childhood policy, or cash-transfer domains is a plus.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the U.S. for partnership management and program delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management, including assessing trade-offs of design decisions.
- Oversee application verification processes and define operational efficiency metrics.
- Manage and hire field staff, including local Program Associates.
- Establish and maintain relationships with funders, technical partners, and community organizations.
- Monitor payment delivery, lead troubleshooting, and handle crisis resolution.
- Draft and maintain recipient-facing communications and supporting documentation.
- Execute program evaluation strategies, including surveys and focus group efforts.
- Build and maintain workflows within back-end operational platforms.
