Experience developing engineering talent through mentoring and coaching
Led complex technical delivery projects in an Agile environment
In-depth knowledge of Ruby on Rails, Node.js/Express, or frontend web frameworks like React
Significant experience with RDBMS such as PostgreSQL
Deep technical expertise in troubleshooting and debugging opaque distributed system issues
Experience optimizing distributed systems, including instrumentation, monitoring, and performant design
Track record of implementing proactive security tooling and measures
Experience architecting and managing infrastructure on AWS, Heroku, or Cloudflare
Proficiency with Terraform and CircleCI
Experience gathering requirements and collaborating with non-technical stakeholders
In-depth knowledge of engineering patterns and standards
Experience writing documentation for technical and non-technical audiences
Experience disseminating Agile best practices across organisations

Act as technical lead on the foundation’s various projects and services
Write code that serves as an example of best practice in security, accessibility, performance and robustness
Propose and implement architectural solutions for highly scalable web applications and systems
Lead by example through code reviews, test-driven development, and technical decision-making
Mentor and coach senior engineers to proactively share knowledge
Accelerate delivery teams by resolving technical blockers and defining development processes
Own the technical quality, architecture, and operations of team products
Articulate technical decisions to diverse stakeholders based on user needs and business value
