Requirements
- 7+ years of full lifecycle software engineering experience
- Proven track record building, shipping, and maintaining production SaaS systems
- Strong architectural instincts and experience coaching others
- Experience in startup or fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Python, or Elixir
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with Vue.js, React, or SPA development
- Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Experience with TDD, RSpec, and Playwright
- Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Clear communication skills with a focus on high signal and low ego
- Good UX/product design sense
Responsibilities
- Architect and build full-stack features end-to-end using Ruby on Rails, Python, SQL, and JS/Vue/React
- Drive technical vision, code quality standards, and engineering best practices
- Ship quickly in iterative cycles: prototype, launch, iterate, and scale
- Build, maintain, and scale SaaS products that serve real patients and clinicians
- Design and implement high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions
- Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of core platform systems
- Use AI tools to accelerate engineering output across the team
