Requirements
- 5+ years of backend or fullstack software engineering experience.
- Focus on platform, shared infrastructure, or developer-facing systems.
- Experience building shared APIs, services, or platform components for multiple engineering teams.
- Familiarity with distributed systems.
- Experience with event-driven architecture or message queue systems (Kafka, SQS, pub/sub).
- Track record of shipping high-quality, maintainable code.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and design stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical trade-offs.
- Openness to using AI tools to improve efficiency and impact.
Responsibilities
- Design and build high-quality, scalable systems and shared libraries used by multiple engineering teams.
- Partner with product engineering teams to translate needs into clean, well-documented APIs and services.
- Drive technical decisions and influence architecture across team boundaries with a focus on developer experience.
- Define and uphold engineering standards for consistency, performance, and security.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning to raise engineering quality.
- Write and maintain thorough documentation for systems and libraries to enable org-wide adoption.
